Volunteer Needs
The Rainbow of Hope is always seeking volunteers in many areas!
* Administrative Coordinators are to run the program
* Event Coordinatorsare to put on events and coordinate activities for the families and children through seeking service donations from churches, civic groups, museums, day camps, etc.
* Host Families are to host a child and be a guardian and advocate for them
* Communication Volunteersare to get the word out, distribute flyers, speak to community groups, seek support from local media, recruit host families and help families gather required paperwork
* Fundraisers are to raise finances by fund raising events. They also write grants and seek sponsorship from individuals and businesses
* ESL & Art Instructors to teach ESL and art classes
* Ukranian/Russian Translators to provide language assistance for host families and events
* Pediatricians to provide camp physicals
* Dentists to care for dental needs
* Optometrists to provide eye exams and glasses.
* Buddies are individuals who have experience in transitioning children from institutional life. They would need to be able to answer questions and provide support to host families and the children.
