What is Hosting Program?
Rainbow of Hope Ukrainian Orphan Hosting Program is a unique opportunity to impact a child’s life for Christ and the future, with a cross-cultural experience for your family! The program provides a once-in-a lifetime opportunity for the orphans to receive the love, compassion and attention lacking in their lives. It is a marvelous way of motivating the children and giving them hope for their futures.
The idea is NOT to find them adoptive families, even though it might lead to some of them to be adopted, but to have them to stay in a loving Christian home. Love Cradle Mission brings a group of orphaned children from Ukraine to the US for four weeks summer vacation (June 30 - July 28) and three weeks winter vacation.
Prior to hosting a child, host families must agree to:
- Complete an application to host, and other forms as requested
- Complete a mini-home study, child abuse clearance and criminal check
- Attend mandatory host family preparation session
- Allow the children to interact with the chaperon for 2-3 days
- Seek support the child’s trip, dental/physician donated service
- Provide necessities such as food, clothing, hygiene items to the child during the visit
The Love Cradle Mission is licensed 501c3 a not for profit organization. All donations are tax deductible.
